Senior Wellness Assistance

Our Wellness Center is staffed by Buckeye Home Health Care. Private pay service for Medication Monitoring and Companion Services is available in 15-minute intervals.

Our Wellness Nurse is available Monday-Friday for two hours per day in our Wellness Center:

  • To discuss health concerns
  • Make referrals to physicians
  • Check blood pressure
  • Answer questions about medications
  • Administer routine annual flu shots
  • Provide updates on latest COVID-19 protocols

Senior Fitness Center

Our fitness center provides the latest equipment for our residents. Want to start a fitness program or continue your fitness path? Our staff is available to assist and meet you where you on in your fitness journey.

Equipment includes:

  • Nu Step
  • Treadmill
  • Exercise Bike
  • Universal Weight Station
  • Leg Press

A variety of fitness classes are also available. One class is held daily and includes chair yoga, strength and endurance, tai-chi, Zumba, and walking club.

Social Activities

Activities, social events, and outings are provided by our Social Department which includes numerous programs: health club/exercise classes, educational classes, craft and creative arts, cards and games, and weekly outings. Transportation is provided to the Schuster, Philharmonic, and Wright State University Theatre for season ticket holders. Some activities such as dining events off campus and/or admission to events are subject to charge.

One Lincoln Park’s Life Enrichment program guarantees to offer a variety of fun and educational activities.

We welcome you to join us for any of these weekly classes or social activities:

  • Knitting Club – our knitting ladies gather to make lap blankets for the homeless, booties for babies at local hospital nurseries and dish cloths for our Gift Shop.
  • Zumba – a fun dance fitness program that can be adapted to all physical levels and performed while sitting or standing.
  • Bingo – a resident favorite with cash prizes for the lucky winners.
  • Tai Chi – a graceful form of exercise that promotes relaxation and improves balance through gentle movements.
  • Poker, Pinochle & Bridge Games
  • Happy Hour

Heartland Apothecary

The Heartland Apothecary is managed by Hometown Pharmacy and features:

  • Prescription drop-off and pick-up
  • Over the counter meds and health and beauty items
  • Greeting cards
  • Gift items
  • Seasonal decor
  • Small sundries
  • Snacks – fresh fruit, candy, ice cream, etc.
