Our Life Paths at One Lincoln Park

Our Life Paths is a popular get-acquainted group for residents of One Lincoln Park. It’s an opportunity for residents to share their feelings, thoughts, and opinions about their own personal life path they are following.

There are numerous popular resident activities at One Lincoln Park. One of them is a get-acquainted group, focusing not on getting acquainted with one another but on becoming reacquainted with themselves. It is a personal visit to their challenges, pleasures and understandings of life.

The group has chosen its name – “Our Life Paths.” The members acknowledge that they are following a path on a special stage of life.

The agenda includes the leader reading from a book which addresses the gifts of years. The topics are relevant to this time in their lives and pertinent to daily living. A few which have been explored are Joy, Transformation, Newness, Loneliness, Time, and Solitude.

After the reading, the members write a few sentences and share, if they wish, how the words of the topic personally relate to themselves. Next is a casual time of sharing feelings, thoughts, and opinions. It is a combination of laughter and seriousness.

Everyone enjoys the informality and companionship; they agree this is an enlightening and rewarding time while making new friends.
