For over 25 years, Mike Bessler has dedicated his professional life to helping others. Mike’s extensive experience in the field of social services has provided him with the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families throughout the Miami Valley. Mike is especially passionate regarding the importance of collaboration and community involvement in developing strategies for problem solving.

Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Affairs from Wright State University in 1995. He continued at WSU for his graduate studies, achieving his Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science in 2000.

Originally from Ashland, Kentucky, Mike lives in Sugarcreek Township with his wife, Thomai. Together, they have two adult daughters and a son. Their oldest daughter is a graduate of Loyola University and currently works as a teacher in Chicago. Their younger daughter is pursuing a degree in Public Health at Ohio University, and their son is an avid video gamer and trumpet player.

In his spare time, Mike writes about professional wrestling for a magazine that is sold around the world. Mike also collects books, toys, records, and guitars, and he loves Bollywood films.

Mike is thrilled to join the team at One Lincoln Park and hopes to work closely with staff and residents alike in the exciting times ahead.
